Isaiah 61:8

‘For I, the Lord, love justice.
    I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering
and make an everlasting covenant with them.’

Here we see the nature of our heavenly Father. A Father who despairs over His children being deceived. A Father who faithfully promises to make things right, and whose love is everlasting.

This statement from God, which tells us there is going to be an everlasting solution to all our pain, concludes our time looking at the Promise, and leads us into the next part of our journey.

Here we see how our heavenly Father feels about His children. A Father who is angry about His children being lied to and led astray. A Father who promises to make things right, and whose love is everlasting.
