Isaiah 61:3
‘a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
festive praise instead of despair.’
Again, we see God promise not only to remove mourning and grief, but to lavish His blessings on us in their place. Blessing, from the Father to His children, and praise, from His children back to Him. He created us to be in direct relationship with Him. We were never meant to be apart.
Here is another verse like yesterday’s, which shows us what God will give us instead of our sorrow. Here He promises to give us a blessing, and tells us that we will sing and praise Him instead of feeling sad.
